My life seems to be on a downhill slide,I am nearing 50,have been divorced,TWICE,my youngest son lives in Iowa with his mother,has for approx. 9years,and I still CANNOT understand how God has let that happen,she is into Wicca!my financial situation is sucking the joy out of my life and I am on antidepressants,miss more work than I ever have,withdrawing further and further,can't afford to do the simple things I enjoy,going to see my kids,shopping,rodeos,in state trips,zoo,etc.can't even think about dating,are they going to pay for everything?I used to be confident,outgoing,enjoyed being and feeling so alive.my credit is very poor,I have tried every avenue I know to get one decent loan to consoldate a bunch of high interest local loans,credit cards,medical,taxes etc,I AM SO VERY FRUSTRATED!!!I KNOW GOD CAN DO ANYTHING AND EVERY THING HE WANTS,He is definetly NOT going by my will!I am lonely,stressed,depressed,angry,discouraged....besides that I'm ok..:-) i ask you to pray that God will pick me up,turn me,my life around,restore all the finances I have lost thru divorces,bad decisions,to clean out my soul,bring blessings to me,bring true joy back into my life,allow me to afford to see my children more and His will,lead me her or her to me,a truly wonderful LADy,God knows my choives have been poor.I do pray for others and have seen God answer those prayers,I truly do BELIEVE!may God/Jesus be with you all. My Son T

My son T was cut from HS baseball team twice while others have made it that were second string in MS that are friends with coach and his son. He has had 9 years of lessons and attends college showcases and doing well while others on the HS team could care less about playing beyond HS - other words, homegrown townboys, kids with connections and money that walk onto the team and are just plain so so players down to even awful. Please pray for my son that may try a third time or he may give up his college baseball dream and pray for the Coach that does not care about any of the kids on Honor Roll, work hard year round, attend clinics, camps and showcases, but about himself and friends. Please pray for him as he decides whether to give it a 3rd try or not as his college scholarship that he could get is riding on it.

I was only working there to pay off some dental bills; I was not planning on making it a career. I have 18 yrs. manufacturing exp. and 3 yrs. college and I don't want a fast food job, temp. agency job, or another retail store job. Pray that DSE Systems or Snaktime Foods will call me and I'll get a job with one of them. They are 2 new companies in my area that are supposed to begin hiring soon. Pray that God's will be done in the MSSC class I signed up for. If you complete it, you will be a certified production technician and will get an interview with a BMW supplier but the jobs are over 45 miles one way away from my home. I'm going through a rough time right now.

I many major health issues that I battle daily. I have a painful bladder disorder called IC. Plus along with that comes many major health issues too such as IBS, migraines, joint pain, low immune system & many more problems. Depression is also one of them due to my up & down health. Many of my illnesses are "hidden" meaning I look fine on the outside.

I homeschool my kids too and try hard to be a good wife & mom. Yet I must depend on my husband a lot. I don't drive due to my health.

My husband rarely travels but he went out of town for just one night. I was fine with that. He called his morning that he was going to have go some where and it could possibly be 2wks.

This is scary for me since I depend on him. He does the driving, grocery shopping and stuff since I never know how my health will be.

I have no friends due to to me being at home all the time. We haven't been to church either in months due to my health. I'm alone a lot.

I handle it ok though.

It's scary though with him maybe being gone for 2wks. Thing are up in the air right now so we don't know much of the details of when the long trip will be, how long and stuff like that. He could leave in the morning or a few more days. He could be gone only a week and return but have to go again for another week. He could be gone 2 weeks and not come home.

To make matters worse I have a bad tooth. I had a root canal done over a month ago. I've had pain but I heal slowly. I have an appointment next week or I did so I was going to tell the dentist about the tooth then.

I'm also running low fevers. It could be due to a cold/sinus thing. I normal temp is 97 due to my health problems and now I run around 99.8 so who knows what is going on.

I can drive but due to my migraines my vision gets very blurry and I don't feel safe driving.

I'm alone. All alone with my husband and it scares me to death. His family is an hour away and they are the type who say "do it yourself and suck it up" so they dont understand my health. My family is over 8hrs away. Also like I said no friends really.

Please pray. I feel so alone. I tried to reach out on a local forum where people have been wonderful and kind to me for years. Yet I asked for prayers and support and got called "selfish" "a door mat" & even worse names.

bROTHER our Situation is too serious

Having being born in to a family of 7 children, our parents managed to educate everyone ( excepting me only upto High School Plus II) very well, and all the brothers and sisters are doing well now. However since 26 yrs ago since i got married, things changed dramatically, and it was just as i have been alienated from the rest of the family. So much so that even on his death bed my father told me " son you will struggle throughout your life and will never achieve anything least of all even a stable financial foundation". Now no one even talks to me and my mother also refuses to talk to me. I have of course forgiven them from the bottom of my heart. I am 51 yrs old and have two children -Son-23 yrs old-Joseph and daughter=Elizabeth-19 years old. Owing to debt problems at home and the attitude of my brothers and sisters, my son became a recluse and has just managed to clear his 10th Standard with pass grades. He also has a split personality and gets violent at times. After taking him to various hospitals around south india ( incurring debts upto 8000 $), we decided to wait for god to deliver him from this problem. Our daughter too did not have the privilege ( Can I use this word) of playing or sitting on my Dad or Mom's lap, as they would refuse to even take her when she was small, not to speak about now. 26 years of married life have been a roller coaster ride of trials,tribulations,agony,pain,indebtedness, loss of jobs and having neighbours sneering at us. We pray everyday from the Bible and pick words at random and reflect on the same. We stopped begging for help 6 months back and have left everything into God's hands. My patience and tolerance has enabled to get this far in life through God's mercy.

IN 2006 MY ELDEST BROTHER AND MY ELDER SISTER SOLD OUR FAMILY HOUSE AND HAVE KEPT THE PROCEEDS WITH THEM. WHEN WE DARED TO APPROACH WE WERE RIDICULED AND WARNED AND SENT AWAY. THEY SAID EVEN IF WE GO TO COURT THEY WILL NOT RELENT AND GIVE US OUR DUE. I HAVE FILED A CIVIL CASE IN JAN,2007 AND I PRESUME THE CASE WILL GO ON FOR YEARS. LET GOD GIVE HIS VERDICT TO US! WE WILL ACCEPT IT.

P.S ONE BROTHER ( YOUNGEST IS IN USA AND ELDEST ONE IS IN CANADA) AND THEY DO NOT BOTHER TO EVEN TALK OR HELP US. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AT THEIR TAUNTING BEST. MAY GOD FORGIVE ALL OF THEM AND HAVE MERCY ON THEM.

I have never done a prayer request like this but I figured extra prayers my way would be so helpful! I am 25 y/o female whom usually has a great zest for life. I am usually a very outgoing, "happy", funny person! I grew up walking with the Lord and turned away from him during my high school, college years. I thought my life was perfect and began traveling around the country with my job. However I realized that I was trying to fill this empty void in my heart with material things, accomplishments, and so forth. I got involved in a semi- emotionally abusive relationship and started to go through a terrible bout of anxiety and depression. I had no hope in life but continued to "mask it". No one really knew how "unstable" my mind was! To make a long story short I moved back home and gave my heart to the Lord! Praise Jesus! My hope and faith is with Jesus and am so thankful he tugged at my heart so that I can have "life!" I struggled with temptations in the beginning just as most "born again" Christians and also struggled with being very lonely due to the fact that most of my friends weren't Christians. But now God is blessing me with having my two best friends want to turn their life over as well! I defintely have a lot to be thankful for however I still go through extreme bouts of depression, guilt and anxiety. I have some really good and up days and then some days where I see no light at the end of the tunnel and I feel I have very low self worth. I also go through somewhat of spiritual depression as well. I have been battling this for about a year and a half. I know that God has plans for my future-it's just so tough to see when my mind is in "that pit". I am praying really hard for healing, and I am also really trying to work on channeling my thoughts to be more positive-but sometimes the negative will over rule and it just sets me back! I really appreciate all of your prayers. thanks so much :)

Before marriage, I was working as a IT professional. I'm trying to find a job but finding it very difficult to get a job now.

I'm tired of depending on the kindness of my friends.I'm so tired and once i get close to getting a job, the people never call me back. I'm highly- skilled and well-paying jobs in my past.

The interviews are nerve racking, there are challenging scenario questions and numeric tests to be completed. Then there is the watching and waiting afterwards to know if you have been successful or not.

May the Lord grant a miracle so that I will get a job and be employed.

I need prayer I feel like I'm going have a nervous break down I have mental problems and I'm on medicine for it I fight with this illness daily. I'm a Christian and I'm not a violent person I have always been good to people if I hurt anyone it will be myself.
I'm very much depressed and sad I don't know why God keeps me on this earth. I feel so unworthy I feel so betrayed and have been persuted and lied on by my only adult daughter Christy. I know I cannot get into every thing she has done to me would take up 100 pages.
I will just give you a short version. We raise our daughter in church and taught her about the Lord we prayed together and we were always good to her that's why this is so hard for me and my husband to accept.
When she become a teenager she starting rebellion against us no matter what we done it didn't help.
She started dating this guy when she was 17 and then later moved in with him she wouldn't listen to us about what the Bible says about doing that without being married. She then started trying to start fights she wanted her boyfriend to hit me and be mean to me this went on for about 7 years then she got pregnant by this man and broke up with him and we let her move back home she was 24 by then. We supported her and the baby until the baby was 6 months old she then meant a guy and moved in with him after 3 months because we did not want her sleeping with him outside of marriage in our house.

Well there was a big fight and we didn't get to see our grandchild for months. My daughter I hate to say is the one who starts a fight and then wants her boyfriends to hit me or fight me. I don't understand it. Its about every three months she will start something. Well she then got pregnant by this man and we were all getting along fine. Then she starts a fight about a month before the delivery date of her second child. She got his parents mad and they live over there behind his parents, The mama has cursed me out before over a lie that was told on me. When everything is going good everybody getting along that's when she will start something.
We wanted to see the second grandchild born, but our daughter would not return my calls or talk to me until she sent me a email telling me I could come to the hospital I just had to keep my mouth shut around the boy mom and dad I could not make myself go with the terms she gave me Maybe I should have I didn't have a way anyway to the hospital. I was so embarrassed knowing she had told just all kinds of lies I didn't go. She told me that his mom and her boyfriend Ray would be in there I just couldn't talk. So I was so hurt because I said I was sorry and she never would she has kept Alex away from me
She then later says its my fault that his mama didn't get to see it being born because of me I get blame for everything. When she told me Linda and Ray was going to be in there I assumed that his dad was watching Alex but the mother had to go home and watch Alex mad I would have been glad to have kept him if they would have called me.

Christy said that none of them or going to forgive me for making Linda miss it being born didn't know I was told one thing by Christy and another thing happened. I had no idea but now they are really mad at me over that. Christy always blames me and my mental condition. If Jesus was standing right here I would say the same thing I'm telling the truth I have been nothing but good to her entire life she is 26 now. I don't see how we can get the blame for something we did not know. I didn't go to the hospital because his parents I thought was in there and his mama has really been mean to me in the past Christy allows this This is not the first time she has done me and her dad this way.
I have been persecuted and lied on by my only daughter and now They say I can never see my grandchildren the 2 year old was very attached to me and my husband we had always been there for him.
What I don't understand is why Christy don't want us in her life and she always sides with the boys family. She acts like she hates me I don't understand why They are keeping them up neither one of them works. They want let me even bring the 2 year old toys over there to him.
If it was just Christy after 9 years of the way she has done I would just say forget it. But what is hurting me the worst is I will never be able to see my grandkids. I didn't do nothing to cause this. I have ask for her forgiveness if I did anything when I know she was the one. But I thought that would be the Christian thing to do. But she will not say she is sorry for none of this. I still love her I just do not like her ways she is always trying her best to hurt me. She will never take the blame for her actions.
I would love to see my grandbabies but they say NO.

Pray that the Lord will give me some peace in this I'm hurting so bad right now. I cant pray the way I should I cant even focus to do anything Please pray for me that I will get over this somehow be able to go on with my life I know everything happens for a reason. I also know it says in the Bible in the last days Children will disobey their parents. I'm just so hurt right now I need Peace and comfort from the one who really loves me.

Well what I need you to pray is that the boy and his parents will see what she done and the truth will come out. And see thru her lies that she has told on me I do not know everything that was told on me I just know I didn't do it. I treated her like a Queen she was the only child I could have I never beat her or treated her bad. I always worked to make sure she was able to have all the things she needed. I took up for her when her first boyfriend jump her that's just a mother's love for her. I always thought it was the boys it took me this long to realize it was her all along.

Also so pray that even if she don’t love us that she will let us see our grandchildren we love them and she is doing this to punish us. We have done nothing but love her and support her. This is very painful and hurtful to me that she would do this time and time again.

I need a help from you that please pray for my boy friend Mr. Kalai dasan and his brother Mr. Thiagu who have been caught by police for the suspect of crime.

We have spend so much of money for the police and the lawyer to get them out.
Mr. Kalai Dasan have accepted Jesus christ as his personal saviour 4 years ago and he fully believed in Jesus.

Mr. Kalai Dasan's told me that he will be in prison for 2 years and I dun wan him to be there, his family and friends are Hindu (worshiping idols) and they are praying hard for him for his brother and friends.

You will be wondering, why I request you to pray for Kalai Dasan's only because lets say we pray for both of them and God help them to be release and they wont know how they were out and for sure their family member will tell through their prayers the idol God that they workship let them out.

I wan Kalai Dasan to be released by God since he believe Jesus and I will share this wonderful testimony with everyone saying that how good is our Lord God who saves his children from all the world troubles.

On 19/8/2008 they going adjourned the court meeting to file the case for charging him for the years they going to prison him. I don’t him to be charged and with the grace of the Lord to be released.

I will take it as a challenge and prove it to everyone that nothing is impossible for Jesus.

Prayer Request

I wanted to submit a prayer request but was unsure how to. My name is Colleen and I am 24 years old. I would like to ask for prayer of physical healing. I had a bad reaction to a well-known medicine (Prilosec OTC) and have been off of it for 3 months. The Lord has been progressively healing me and I ask that people may pray for me.

It is painful to eat and my body feels very sick but it has been getting better. I read healing scriptures out loud every single day. I pray for hours (but not just for myself).

I noticed once I tried to medicate issues instead of ask God for help and live a healthy lifestyle, life crumbled. I had stopped praying and given up. But that all changed.


I also wanted to share with you that I have just learned of tithing and will be starting that next Sunday. I noticed ever since I gave my life to God... obviously nothing is perfect, but it changed everything. I see things so differently, so clearly now.

I also wanted to share how I donated my last bits of money to a new church. I stumbled into it after I moved to a new town back when I didn't know why I was sick. I have been a member for almost 4 months, but unable to attend service for 2. Anyhow, I donated my last bits and gave my last 10 dollars I had last week to the 700 Club.

Well ever since giving to God, (You can never out give God, finances are looking up! My fiance has a high paying job and got a raise. We will be caught up with debt in just one week! Praise God!

So I am praying hard for physical healing but giving prayer of thanksgiving as well. Wanted to share my story with you and anyone else who may read. Give it to God. Put your trust in him. Give him the control of even your finances. You may not see results soon, he's no slot machine. But you will notice things change drastically.

Please pray for our business, we have a lot of interest, but everyone is backing off the purchase. Also, please pray for our marriage and my husband's salvation. He is stressed about the money and lack of sales and is turning his anger and frustration on me. He is crude, mean, curses and yells all the time and lately he is saying he wants a divorce. It is very hard for me, I am the only one with an outside job (my husband's job is to take care of our business) and the stress is affecting my job performance. Please pray I am able to concentrate on my work and I find favor again with my employers and co-workers.

Family Relationship and finances

Please pray for my and my husband's family. Pray for our relatiionships with them and also each and everyone of their finances. Also pray for our family business, because of the recession I am busy losing my car and my brother is losing his to. We are all in arrears with our homeloans, and its been difficult living from day to day (for some much more difficult than us). I know that there are people worse off than us and i pray for them too. We all have families and it breaks my heart to know that my sisters kids go to school without anything to eat and then when they come home they have to choose if they are going to have lunch or supper (its one or the other somedays). Also I would like to pray for my parents who lives with us - for their health and for financial blessings. They are pensioners, and yet my dad sell food from a caravan in order to make extra monies (but he hardly ever sees a profit - its as if the money slips through his fingers)He works so hard and my heart breaks for him when he is borrowing money to buy daily things. He is supposed to be relaxing, not working his fingers to the bone everyday. Please pray for my husband's sister in Cape Town who is also struggling financially and has a son who is addicted to TIK who can not hold on to work. Lastly please pray for my marriage, my husband and I are drifting apart, its because of finances and family relationships. We have 2 children aged 11 yrs and 3 months, and I want a loving relationship with my husband and all of our families. I'm tired of animosity and tension between us. Please remember us in your prayers. First, we have a 30 year old daughter with Bipolar. We worry from day to day about her safety and fear for her life. Secondly, I was laid off from my 24 year job in February 2007 for no good reason. A job I had worked very hard at throughout my life. At the same time, my husband was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Mantle Cell Lymphoma and given six months to live. I also became very sick from the stress of losing my job. God has blessed us throughout these trials with healings; however, the burdens seem too heavy to continuously carry. My husband had a Stem Cell Transplant and is now in remission; but, our daughter needs a miracle healing touch and we need a financial blessing to carry us through. Also pray for our oldest daughter and her family. They need miracles in their lives. We are Christians and totally trust that God will intervene.

Pray that I do not lose my faith. I have been struggling for over 30 yeaars with debt and God never seems to answer my prayers. The closer I become to Him the worse things get. I feel abandononed by Him. I am starting to wonder if its all worth it. Whats the point. If I lose my faith I have lost everything.

Salvation

I have recently fallen away from God. While I was astray I met someone named Justin. I fell in love with him and am still with him. However, recently I have began to get back on the right track with God. I have been with Justin for a long time, he is not a Christian. For the past while I have been praying very hard for him to have an open heart. He is very stubborn and has a hard time believing things he cannot see in front of him. He is also a firm believer in science and believes in evolution, but at the same time does belive in a God. He is extremely confused and has been trying to understand Christianity. After many months of prayer Justin has agreed to come to church with me this coming Sunday (Feb 15th). Please pray that the Lord touches his heart and for him to understand that the Lord loves him. I know I cannot be with him if he doesn’t commit his life to the Lord. But Justin has really been trying and I have been praying and I see light at the end of the tunnel. Justin is a good person with a good heart. I have seen people who are drug addict and alcoholics commit their lives to the Lord, I have 100% faith that God can touch his heart. Please pray that Justin will have a soft heart and understand God and that he will commit his life to the Lord. Please pray for Justin’s progress and that he will realize that there is a Jesus that has died for his sins. Pray that Justin sees God and that the Lord will come over him this Sunday.

Please help me to pray for my husband in Nigeria, he is doing business there and about to collect his payment but unfortunately he was smashed up while waiting for a taxi to go back to hotel to collect his belongings.

He is serious injured & almost lost his vision on his left eye. Please pray for me that he will be healed by God's grace. We are both Christian in faith & we believe in miracle by God's hand. Please pray for him, he is going for another surgery to have all the debris of glasses in his eyes taken out & it will be a long 48 hours surgery in Nigeria.
