I'm not really sure how to pray or the words to say so I speak only from the heart. My husband of 11 years packed a bag and walked out the front door almost 4 months ago, leaving my 9 year old son and I completely devastated and shocked. He said he is not in love with me anymore, that there is no other person involved, but that he just doesn't want to be married anymore. He has had a lawyer draw up dissolution of marriage papers and is determined to go through with the divorce he wants. I do NOT want a divorce, and I feel strongly that God brought us together and we can work anything out with Him in our lives and a focus on what is really important. We are on friendly terms and he was here today for Christmas with me and our son. He does not talk about anything important--just surface issues--feels we can be good friends as long as we are not married. I feel that we are supposed to be together and that God will help us restore our marriage if my husband will give Him and me a chance. Please help me to pray for God to stop this divorce, open my husband's heart to fighting for our marriage and relationship with God, and to restore my marriage to what God intended it to be. Help me to keep my faith and trust that all things are possible through God. I've always felt like turning my concerns and heartaches over to God is using Him when I should be trying to solve my own problems and not burdening Him with them, so it is difficult for me to ask Him to take over and carry us through these difficult times. Please pray for me, my son, and most especially my husband to keep faith that God will bring us all back together to the family he created 11 years ago. Thank you for your prayers...they are all that I know how to do anymore.

My wife turns 50 this year.....i am someone who never drank or partied so i guess some people say im boring.I got layed off from work and my wifes younger friends told her she could do better than me and she left me and took my 17 and 19 year old boys.They have all began drinking beer and liquor and my wife has even joined at a biker bar.
The devil is lying to her and she thinks this is the fun thing to do.I have grown a lot closer to God during this time,but i REALLY miss my wife. My heart aches for reconciliation.I have prayed every day about this and can relate it to the prodigal son story in the Bible.Please pray that something happens in her life to open her eyes to the fact that the bar scene is not what God wants for her life.

I deeply love my wife. I have took her into my heart. I cant live without her. A problem has arisen and it has broken our relationship. In fact, she also loved me so much. The problem is that she has got habit of having boyfriends. She gets into chat with boys who are not known for her. She has got these boyfriends before my marriage itself. These persons at first has made simple chats and then later on has changed her mind in such a way of making awkward conversations by impressing her much by telling their past stories. By this way, later on they have asked her that whether she can continue her relationship with them after marriage also. She has told them that it depends on my life partner that my life partner looks calm and soft. I cant predict his character now and can know only on talking with him. Being a genuine person, she should have forgot all those persons and should have not allowed them to speak such awkward conversations and should have ignored their email and chat ids and should have deleted from her mail address. But she likes to have friendly relationship with them, which is not a genuine thing after marital life. One day I saw an sms in her mobile that one person was asking how are you madam. I noted the sms and said it is not good to get sms from anyone after marriage. She should have said to me that hereafter the problems wont arise again, but what she said was the sms person was a good character person and I gave my mobile number because he wont misuse my number. That day itself I was hurt very much and not able to sleep and affected my heart much. I am worried why she does not understand what I am saying. By this way my doubt started and it made me to check her email inbox and chats. This proved that she has got habit of making boyfriends, chatting with them just for fun. I got shock after reading certain messages that she has had made chat with her friend who has given her idea to how to success her love with one guy and to drop the person who her parents are asking her to marry and that is none other than me. After knowing all these things, I took it to the knowledge of my parents first, then one day asked her and her family to gather in her uncle’s house. Then I showed the printouts of all documents and asking her to explain what are all these. She got upset and started lying for certain things. For some other things she accepted her fault and for some others she did not. What she said was I have given my user id and password to some of my friends who have misused it and the chat was made by her friends in the name of her’s. Another problem is that she has also accepted her sister husband’s cousin brother as a boyfriend. In fact, the exact relationship is that he is like a brother for her. This person also has made an awkward conversation with her. I asked why you did not ignore his message while he makes this conversation. She said that if I hurt him, it will affect her sister’s marital life. The problem is that she is very weak mentally, just gets attracted with the boy’s speech, never worries about her own marital life, thinks that relationship after marriage is good and that husband wont mistake these things. As I husband, I am unable to tolerate the pain cause by these situations. In fact, she is not pregnant. The baby is like a god. I don’t know how its possible for her to tell lies and think that it is nothing wrong to keep relationship through sms and chat with others. She spoke to me finally saying that you have the habit of doubting your wife, do you at least believe that the baby I am carrying is your child, and that she is ashamed of having lived with me for these past 6 months as you are a doubtful person. Her parents are uneducated who make her as egoistic. They make her to behave like a sadist. While she is speaking these sentences, they don’t even stop her from letting words. These lines have hurt me very very much. I am really worried about my wife’s conduct, my marital life for future with her, and my child’s life. As I have took her deep into my heart, I cant also live without her. I cant imagine life without her. I don’t have heart to marry another women by forgetting her because of these issues. Finally I said that your husband will have only one life and one wife in his life, and you will see your husband as a dead one hereafter. Please pray for me that my wife should understand my full love and should live and love for me and my baby..... thanks

I am in need of some support,and prayer. My husband just came home from Afghanistan for R&R, and told me that he has been involoved with another woman emotionally. I believe him when he said that he hasn't touched her phsyically. I am devestated and my heart has been broken by the man I love with my whole heart. My relationship with the Lord has been very weak. He should have been our foundation for the beginning of our marriage, but he hasn't. We can only blame ourselves. My husband has wanted us to have a spiritual life with the Lord since the beginning of our marriage, and I have been lazy and have not done so. I blame myself for this happening. He has found something in someone else that I lack. It hurts so bad. During the next few months we have both agreed that we need to do some serious work on ourselvses. He told me he doesn't want a divorce, but I am so insecure that I have my doubts. I have turned to the Lord, and I can feel Him working in me. I have been praying daily, and reading scripture to give me the strengh to get through this. I am asking for prayer for both me and my husband. I am asking the Lord to soften my husbands heart. I know it's not in my will for this to work out, but in His. But I feel like the Lord has brought us together, and I'm confused and hurt to why this could happen. Please pray for my little family to reunite

My exfiance and her daughter left me about 7 months ago. We had been in a relationship for 4 years. I left my home and job and moved 250 miles to be with them. At the time I left it was the beginning of our declining economy. After I moved I did not have a job for over a year and I became very depressed and angry. The tension took it's toll on our relationship and resulted in our separation. I tried to hide my pain and mask my feelings, but they could feel the tension. Over the past several months I have done a great deal of soul searching and a lot of self improvement. I have prayed daily, gone to counseling, read numerous self help book etc etc. I have changed a great deal over this time. I still love and miss my little family a great deal. I believe that they still love me and would be so grateful if you could pray for us to be reunited soon and forever this time. I have no doubt at all in my mind and heart that I want to spend the rest of my days on this earth with my two girls. I was a widow with 6 kids and I remarried last year to a man who seemed to be perfect. However, I soon found out he was manic depressive. He stopped taking his medication July 1st and became very angry and violent. He moved out September 4th. He doesn't want to reconcile. I've been married for 10 years, but struggle daily to stay. I've never been physically attracted to my husband, but have been able to focus on the fact that he has always had a good sense of humor and has raised my son as his own since he was four years old. Now that my son is fifteen, I have urges to leave...if I can just stay three more years...until my son goes off to college. I know this is not Christian thinking. breakthrough in steven and our marriage

I am a wife who just gave birth to our first son, last month. I am in need of people to come in to agreement with me for a breakthrough in my husband. We are both christians but for the last two years, steven(husband)has not been faithful to me or God, he told me he was ready to start our family but now he's changed. when he went back to school last sept, he made new worldly friends and did not tell me about them and did not tell them he's married. Steven has many problems, most are generational. Steven lacks alot since he has not had his dad in his life and does not go to church. His mother has had a hard time letting go of him. Steven always wants to be seen as perfect and good/Godly in front of other. Steven turns to the world now for advice, not to me or to God or to the bible or Godly people. He now has a secret life that he works hard at keeping me out of ie: unmarried only women friends that he goes into his car or the bathroom or garage to speak/text to. Steven is very selfish and rude when he does not get his way. Steven can not let the past rest, he brings it up to throw in my face. That is his way of making me feel small. When we do talk/fight if he is not getting his way he threatens to leave me or he leaves me alone with our son and comes home in the morning. we have NO communication, we do not talk on the phone or in the house. He tells me he needs time to decide after 9 years of being together and 4 years of being married, if marring me was a mastake because we were in our mid 20's when we got married. Steven lives like he is single and i'm just his baby's momma. We do not have sex anymore and we sometimes kiss. I love him with all my heart but I need him to change and be the man of the house/the servent leader, the husband/lover/friend and the father to our son. He lies and is so stubbern that he would not even take the time to study, read or ask for Godly advice on how to run a home, be a father, and a husband. He makes little effort to care for our son but even less for me. I think he has curses on him, because we are not in church, so we're not tithing or getting our daily bread. Our mortgauge is almost two months behind. We can bearly pay for anything on our own, we are always lending money and the bills that he pays are always going NSF in his account. He has No idea how to handle money and he does not want to put all of our money in to a joint account, just for selfishness. He wants me to "submit" to him but he disrespects me as a wife and mother. Steven loves worldly women more than me and is still a lieing people pleaser/momma's boy. He was spoiled his whole life by his mother and expects me to do the same for the rest of our life.

My husband and i have been together for approximately 11 years; however married for 9. We have two sons 10 and 6 years old. Since my first pregnancy i lost my sex-drive and as a result of this we are not intimate very often. This has put a strain on our relationship added to the strain of serious financial problems. I think his ego was also crushed because the person was younger than him.

I'm a Christian for two years now and he's a backslider. We've had anger issues to overcome earlier in the relationship as he is an ex-prisoner of the U.S. and he was deported to our homeland Jamaica. This is where i met him and fell in love with him. I was not a Christian when we met. We have abused each other verbally for most of our years together and have displayed this in front of our kids time and time again. We have gotten a little better with the arguing however, the problem with our sex life still continues. I also gained a lot of weight from my very first pregnancy and have not shed the pounds, so he is not happy about this as i look different from when he first met me and he doesn't like fat women. This has given me an "ugly" complex as he has used these words to describe me time and time again. I did try to discuss this sex problem with our family doctor many years ago and he prescribed a drug for me which didn't make any difference, so i've not been back about this particular problem. We have just both lived with it. My husband says "we're living like cousins". Only the Lord can heal all this brokenness and i ask you all to stand with me in prayer. I believe marriage is forever. I also need prayer for our struggling finances...right now i'm trying to decide whether i should tithe or not as tithing will leave me with little or nothing to get by for the rest of the month and we have two kids to take care of and send to school. But, i have purposed in my heart for the last 3 months to tithe irregardless of how little money i have left. I understand that tithing is an act of faith and the Lord says we are to test Him, but in reality it is difficult when you have very little to begin with. I am trying to do the right thing as i do not want to break my commitment with God. It has been difficult, but He has taken us through. One Christian friend told me that's it's okay to owe God, He understands, but i would need to pay it the following month plus interest. I do not share this opinion. If we owe God, then we are telling Him that we do not trust Him to take us through as He knows all our needs and He promises to provide for our daily needs. Praise God!!!

Please also pray for a job for my husband as he hasn't worked for quite a while and i know it bothers him terribly as he cannot provide for his family. The last job he had he lost it as the manager is quite crooked and wanted him to do that which is wrong. This caused conflict as she couldn't get him to do her bidding. Other events took place and this led to conflict between them, so the boss didn't call him back and the boss decided the manager was more important to keep. He was honest and he lost his job. I couldn't understand why God would allow this to happen and he knew how important this job was to provide bread on our table. Anyhow, i later learned that the Lord honoured his honesty, although it took me a while to understand this. Please also pray for my overall health and especially my kidneys. I don't mean to burden you with all these requests, but these are my needs and I sincerely appreciate the time you take to read same.

My brother Marlin's marriage & family ...

Pray that God will reveal Himself in my brother Marlin's life as his wife has left him, moved in with her secret boyfriend, took their 4 children and almost everything they own from the home while he was at work on 2/19 and has fabricated a story of domestic violence from some 5 years ago and a warrant is likely issued for his arrest. Marlin loves his wife and family but his wife is trying desperately to destroy him, brainwashing children as well. Because of his wife, he had been mostly estranged from his birth family for many years but now she has left and his family is standing beside him in prayer. Please pray for Marlin Dailey and his family that he will give his life to Christ and allow God to bring the comfort and direction he now needs.

I am married for 19 years (07/09) after our 14th anniversary i discovered that my God fearing husband is having an affair with my late brother's wife. By the Grace of God and for the love of my miracle child, i have lived through it and realise that God did not intend for us to be married and have affairs. He is not a God of confusion, My boy is now 8 and loves his dad very much and i cannot or will not make decisions that will hurt him. My husband knows this and uses it. He is unemployed and does nothing at home, I am the sole breadwinner and still have to cook and clean. Please Please Pray the God will lead and Direct me and that My marriage will be restored. Despite the irratations that i feel right now, i did have a very good marriage until the point he started the affair, i did not see it coming. It's 5 years since we live together but separate, it's not how a family should be. Please pray that the spirit of adultery will be broken.

My Christian Wife left me over four and a half months ago after over ten and a half years of marriage. My seventeen year old son came to live with us from a previous marriage after my ex-wife was evicted from her apartment. He is a great kid, never disrespected my wife and never disrespected our home. He is a senior in High School and was voted "Entertainer of the Year for 2009-2010 school year". He is a actor in all the school plays and dramas. I had to step up to the plate and take care of my son along with my wife's approval. She told me to find my son another place to live or else she was going to leave. I told her he did not have a place to stay at that moment and she left me. She moved out of town and lives with her mother. When she got to her Mom's house the reason she left me changed. So she told her relatives. We have had limited conversations. The last three conversations that we had were civil but nothing about the marriage because she gets tempermental when I bring up the subject concerning our marriage. Then all of a sudden nothing. I recently had a heated debate with her mother who knows the Word Of God and we quoted scripture back and forth about my Wife not applying the word to her heart, mind and soul. My wife refuses any Christian counseling,refuse to return the calls of the Elders of the church, who also are marriage counselors and don't want to talk to me about our marriage I found out that my wife is now very active in her brothers church. That is why I mentioned to her mother how can she be comfortable doing the church activities such as leading praise and worship and not applying the Word Of God to her life when it comes to our marriage. and basically ignoring our marriage and treating me as if I don't exist No Christmas greeting or New Years phone call, nothing. I did leave a holiday greeting on her voice mail. My Christian teachings taught me that singing on the Praise and Worship Team you are suppose to be one of the leaders and holy walkers of the church. I know that is great that she is in the church becase she could be doing something ungodly. Is that an excuse. Maybe that's how she is dealing with this Somebody need to help me. Am I missing it here or what? I need scripture help, prayer and advice.

Father please remove this woman(Glenda) from our lives right now, God Glenda is my mountain Mark 11, and I cast her in the sea, God I take the keys of heaven in Matt 18:18 and I cut her out of my marriage and my husbands life, I cut all the phone calls and sms’s and the loving word what she feeds Dries, I cut all her e-mails and photo’s out from his phone and from his e-mail in box I destroy those words and thoughts what she put in Dries’s mind right now, with Your Word Heb4:12 and with the Blood of Jesus, and God I put right now love for me Miemsie his wife and the fruits of the Holly spirit in Dries’s hart and I sealed his hart with the Blood of Jesus. God please let him came back to our marriage and to me Miemsie his wife and family, God I bring Dries before Your throne, God U know that Dries work in Equatorial Genie and he has not sent me for 3 day’s an e-mail, please Father God let him sent me a loving e-mail, and God You also know that he did not support me this month but Father God, I know that You will chase his conscience and that You are a loving Father who will speak to him softly, and You God will help me, Deut 8:9” a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills”. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and have 3 children. He recently became reaquainted with a "good friend" from high school who happens to be a woman. He went to visit her for a long weekend in another state 3 weeks ago. When he got back, he's talked about how miserable he has been here and how he might want a divorce so he could move to where she lives. He told me that in 3 weeks he plans to go back for a visit. He tells me they are only good friends, but I have serious doubts. I asked him tonight to please not go. He said he's spent all these years doing what I ask and he will no longer do that. He said he's going and there is nothing I could do or say to stop it. I'm in such pain. Recently my anti depressant meds have stopped working, so I'm depressed and anxious all the time. I have trouble eating and sleeping. I'm worried if he goes, he will just come back and ask for a divorce. I love him so much. This is hurting so bad. I don't know what to do. Please pray he will change his mind about going and he will stay here so we can try to work things out. I believe God can change his heart so our marriage can be saved. Thank you.

Marriage

Please pray for my new marriage we are 3000 miles away from family and friends and my husband took a truck driving job saying it is necessary to be gone sometime weeks at a time. I am alone ( I have the Lord), but sometimes it makes me feel why did he even marry me just to be gone all the time. It is like he has changed gotten very hard arrogant, telling to be quiet or quit when I ask him to try to get a job that brings him home everynight, I pray God changes his heart, he has changed mine now to pray for my husband happiness even if it is not with me, I know God will ultimately have victory for both of us.
