A Daughters Inheritance ... The Fight Begins

A Daughters Inheritance

by Judith Miller
& Tracie Peterson

Karen's Book Review

"A Daughter's Inheritance" is the first book in the Broadmoor Legacy Series. As all of Judith Miller's books, it is wonderfully written and flows very well.

The story centers around greed. A family of greedy people, one person in particular, seem to think money is the answer to all problems. And, of course, they'll do anything to get it.

This book is also about making a choice between money and love. For some people this would be a very hard choice, but for others, there would be no hesitation.

What would you do if you had to make that choice? Could you follow God's leading if it meant giving up a LARGE amount of money? Could you set aside your want of "the good life" in order to do what God says to do?

I think most of us would find a way to rationalize our choice of money. How long do you suppose it would take to come to a good enough rationalization so you could live with your choice?

I really liked how the main character in this book consistently made right choices. Even though it meant she subjected herself to an authority figure that wasn't looking out for her best interests, she still honored her responsibility and commitment to do what God says. He's pretty specific about submitting to the authority in your life, whether you agree with that person or not.

If your a Christian fiction fan, "A Daughters Inheritance" is a great choice. I guarantee you'll be hooked and feel very eager for the next book to come out.
