#1 Trust the Lord with all your heart. Proverbs3:5
#2 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
#3 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25,25
#4 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
#5 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Psalm 37:4
#6 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
#7 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
#8 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14
#9 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
#10 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 28:7

Thank you

Thank you for the posts...I spent many years not able to forgive myself nor believe that God could forgive me. It was something I was very afraid of..I believe I have been able to forgive myself at least I pray that I have and I now know that God has through Jesus. I deeply regret it and have spent time wondering what could have been if only I'd made another choice.

I pray that you will help me to forgive myself completely...

Thank you

After Abortion--The Journey of Self-Healing
by: Ann

A beautiful post and one that many women can resonate with. Within each soul, I think, are tender areas of past sins that remain; that linger in one's mind and spirit. It sounds to me that you have come to terms with the past and have found forgiveness and understanding. Such wisdom and understanding help greatly in releasing such thoughts to God. For He is the Keeper and Forgiver and Helper with all Life Lessons.

Two passages come to my mind and have helped me with my past sins. One comes from Act 13: 38-39: "Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses."

And, Ephesians 1: 6-8: "to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding."

Everytime I think on the glory and peace that forgiveness brings, I am astonded.

Thank you for a beautiful post and the reminder of forgiveness--that it is given freely and the wonderful peace it brings!

Ann
