Doing a Bible Scripture search can be daunting, especially if you're not sure what you're looking for. Until you become familiar with the Bible's layout and format, it isn't always easy to find scriptures that apply to your situation.

That's why I was so impressed with this book. Joyce takes lots of different emotions, situations, and areas of struggle, applies the scriptures, and converts them into usable, prayable form. She personalizes the verses so they apply directly to your need.

This book has changed my own prayer life tremendously. Doing a Bible Scripture search wasn't something I was comfortable or familiar with, so when this book came out, I instantly loved it's simplicity and format.

The Word says that words are containers for power. So when you pray the scriptures over your life, you release that power so God can work.
Here is one of my favorite parts of this book. These are some of the scriptures I pray for my kids:

Isaiah 54:13 My children make right choices according to the Word of God.

Jeremiah 18:6 As the clay in in the potter's hand, so are my children in the hands of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 My children choose life and blessing. They love the Lord, obey His voice, and cling to Him. For He is their life and the length of their days.
