What is Christian Healing?

I know people who have experienced God's healing power. And I know people who have prayed for years and are still afflicted with illness.

I think God's definition of healing is different than ours. It all comes down to motive of the heart. Asking God for a miracle is no different than asking Him for something else when you pray. Whether He grants the request depends on the motive of the heart.

When I talk about motive, I'm talking about your deep down relationship with God. When you ask Him for something in prayer, why are you asking? Are you praying that His promises will manifest in your life?

And the most important question of all...

If God doesn't grant your request, will you still LOVE HIM?

Whether God chooses to grant you a Christian healing or whether He chooses not to intervene in your situation, do you trust Him enough to say that HE knows what's best for you?

Oh! It's tough sometimes. It's tough when a loved one is suffering. It's tough when you feel like your guts are being ripped out.

But take heart. God DOES care. God IS there with you. We don't always understand it, but His plan does have a purpose. If you ask, He'll show you and guide you one step at a time. Just hold on to Him. He won't let you go. One way or the other He will grant you some kind of Christian healing.
