She and her husband of 37 years have six adult children and fourteen incredible grandchildren.

In an answer to God’s call, Jan is an ordained minister and serves in her local church; she ministers to women’s groups and organizations, yet has been known to fly across the country to minister to one person in need.

She is the president and co-founder of Heart of God International Ministries, through which she has had the incredibly unique opportunity to travel as a missionary, sharing the message of Jesus Christ in remote tribal villages where the name of Jesus has never been heard.

Jan is the co-author of award winning Women of Passions (published in 2008) and Echoes of White (scheduled for 2009 publication), and has had several stories and articles published in anthologies and various magazines including JournEzine, a monthly ezine published by Heart of God International Ministries.
