This site is being inundated with questions, requests for prayer, and a whole lot of people looking for Christian marriage advice on what to do about their troubled Christian marriage. One of the most frequently asked questions is "what do you do after an affair?" 
I recently read an ebook called, Affair Repair: How To Save Your Marriage & Make It Better Than Before. I really liked this ebook. I am NOT into all the psychological stuff that makes your eyes glaze over and your head swim. If I were to tell my husband that I wanted somebody that talks like that to counsel us, he'd say, "Good luck, let me know how it turns out." So Exactly what is in this ebook that's so good?I liked the detailed, how-to, step by step "here's exactly what you do" approach. Most of this book is NOT sugar coated. It says it like it is. Even though this ebook isn't specifically written to provide Christian marriage help only, the techniques and issues are very real and appropriate. I also liked that it doesn't add stuff that doesn't amount to a hill of beans when you're trying to save your troubled Christian marriage. There are so many of these books that try to dress up the material by adding all kinds of psychological mumbo jumbo just to look impressive. Well, those do not impress me. I'm looking for books and ebooks that lay it out there in English, step by step, and don't sugar coat it. Just say what needs to be done and tell me how to do it. A Little More Challenging?I think most troubled marriages can trace many of the problems to communications or a lack thereof. It must be important because it's the first topic in this ebook. Let's face it, facing an extra marital affair is difficult at best. But openly discussing it? That has to be the most difficult part. The author offers specific techniques that are designed to break through the barriers. In this situation it is more important than ever to come to the process with open minds and hearts AND to be open to doing whatever needs to be done, no matter how difficult.
