The Christian Marriage Relationship ... How Does that Work Again?

Finding Ever After

by Dr. Robert S. Paul

Karen's Book Review

The Christian marriage relationship ... yup, it's supposed to be different. But is it? Christians live in the same world as everyone else. They have the same problems, and they're looking for the same answers.

You know, answers like...How do I live with this person one more day without losing what's left of my mind?

I just finished a book called, "Finding Ever After" by Dr. Robert S. Paul. This book details a novel approach to keeping the romance alive in marriage. Because God created men as adventurers and women as romantics, the best Christian marriage advice is to find ways to merge the two.

Dr. Paul believes the best way to deepen the relationship is to understand and accept the differences, strive to bridge the gap through communication that promotes the best in each other, and continually stay focused on learning the things that make your spouse unique and truly special.

One of the best parts of this book discussed the concept of "two people becoming one." When I read this, it immediately reminded me of the old joke. It is a wonderful thing when two people agree to marry and become one. But the trouble starts as they're deciding which one to become.

Dr. Paul shows how the only way to truly "become one" is for each person to continue to be the unique and wonderful person God created, while adding God to the mixture as a third person that can take from each and add and multiply it to make it one.

The Christian marriage relationship faces the exact same struggles as every other marriage relationship. But the difference is the arsenal of amazing tools that can help smooth out the rough edges.

I liked this book very much. It's well written, easy to read and very practical.

If you're really struggling in your marriage and you need some one on one advice, here's a great place to start.

Well...so I've convinced you this is a GREAT book and now you want it. I know how you feel!

I like CHEAP books....

On the net, the cheapest prices are usually at Amazon.

Keeping a Christian marriage strong and healthy isn't easy when you're faced with an extra marital affair. It can be devastating and literally destroy your entire marriage if you let it.

But there is hope. It truly is possible to repair your marriage. I recently found a step by step guide that eliminates all the flowery stuff and gets right to the heart of things.
