I SOMETIMES FEEL THAT I AM NOT CLOSE TO HIM AND I SOMETIMES DONT WANT SEX WHEN HE WANTS AND ALSO THE FACT THAT OUR CHILDREN STILL SLEEP WITH US MAKES IT DIFFICULT I TRY TO LET THEM SLEEP IN THEIR OWN ROOM BUT THEY DONT WANT TO

Avril, time to get those kids out of your room! Do you let them skip medicine or walk in the middle of the road, or play with knives, or. . . anything else you know is not good for them -- just because they don't want to?

Children need separation from their parents, and their parents need it, too. Otherwise, your marriage quickly falls to the wayside. In the end, your children will lose out on seeing a healthy marriage and you will lose out on what your marriage could be! Get those children out of your room.

That said, many times, we use children as a way of keeping some distance from our spouse. Keeping them in bed with you keeps the possibility of intimacy from happening. You need to face that fact and decide you need to find intimacy with your husband.

Sex is such a loaded topic that I actually devote a whole chapter to that very subject. I also have a chapter on intimacy. Definitely take the time to look at my information on saving your Christian marriage!
