Keep your focus
by: Karen

I'm assuming you're in high school or college as I write this. This time in your life isn't an easy time. So many things are going on and it's really tough to keep your focus.

Unfortunately, being hurt in relationships happens at any age, but in high school and college it seems like it happens even more frequently.

I know it's probably not what you want to hear, but spend time with God in prayer. Ask Him to direct your steps. Ask Him to show you direction for your life.

Start spending time with Christian kids that treat each other with respect. Get involved with serving others in some way. It's while you're doing what's right that right things start happening to you.

I promise that it will be time well spent. You'll feel better and your life will take on new meaning and direction.

Blessings,

Karen

prayer

Dear Father, I pray that You touch and minister to this precious loved one. Father, You are mender of the broken-hearted. I ask You Lord to heal, and restore those places of hurt, pain and confusion, and to fill it up with Your love, truth, and wisdom. I ask Father, to bless this loved one with Your wisdom, to see, know, and understand-that truly all things work together for the good for those who love You. Father, I ask forgiveness for all the ones who hurt, wronged, or offended this loved one. I ask You Lord to forgive this loved one as well of all his/her sins, wrongs, and offenses-in Jesus Name. True righteous freedom comes thru true heart forgiveness. I thank You Lord for strengthening and empowering him/her in all thats good, right, and holy. I pray this loved one grows mightily in Your Spirit and wisdom-discerning and rightfully dividing all truth. I thank You Lord this loved one leads many unto righteousness, all for the Your glory and honor and Name sake. At Your appointed time O Lord, bless this loved one with a godly mate, equally yoked and one accord in Jesus Name. Thank You Father for blessing this loved one with Your peace, peace that transcends all understanding-the joy of the Lord is their strength, and they can do all things thru Christ Who strengthens them-in Jesus Name, I thank You Father for all the work You are doing in this life, that this loved one grows deeper and stronger in You; doing mighty exploits for Your Kingdom; all being done in Jesus Name, Your truth, Your might, and Your strength. Thank You Lord, we ask and pray all in the precious Name of Jesus.
