Sounds like your husband is having some pretty major problems in life! Regardless of his reasons or excuses, his behavior is reckless and his anger is coming out in abusive ways.

I hope you will seek some outside assistance for yourself, so you can determine what you need to do. It sounds like you need someone who can help you sort through his addiction issues, infidelity, and anger problems. I suspect he will need to work through those without you around.

In other words, I would suggest you take care of yourself at this point. You need to protect yourself from the health issues of the STD's, and I am also concerned that the abuse might escalate. Your safety is my concern at this point, not your marriage.

Please, find someone (counselor, therapist, minister, etc.) that can help you sort it out.

Best wishes to you!
