Encouraging Book

I have a friend that has an ex wife that states she is going to commit suicide. She is a night club dancer and is realizing that she is empty. i am looking for a book that isn't too deep, but will wake her up and encourage her to live with purpose. Hoping you may be able to help.

Some GREAT books

There are lots of great books out there, but I am partial to a few. Many of my favorite inspirational books are here.

The one from that page I would most recommend is by Joel Osteen. It's "Your Best Life Now". What a great book. I think it would do wonders for your friend and his wife.

I also recommend that you encourage both of them to spend time with strong, Christian people. Let her experience how it feels to be truly loved by people with good intentions. Let her see people who face life's challenges using the tools God gives them

Mostly, let them see how strong Christian people stay calm during the storms of life. Seeing Christianity in action is so much stronger than reading a book about it.

Getting non-Christians to want what you have happens when they see all the benefits of living a Christian life. Show both of them what it looks like.
