I just found out today that my brother-in-law will be going through the same thing for violating his probation because of alcohol. He has been completely changed because of it. Two years ago he was a loving husband and father now no one recognizes him. Please Lord I want to pray for anyone who is going through this and is being controlled by this horrible disease. Please Lord guide them back to You because they are lost and you are their shepherd. Make their paths straight and righteous. Your love can heal all. Please Lord bring healing to their souls. Amen

I pray in Jesus name that not only Joseph is delivered from alcoholism, but the children are broken from the possible generational curse of it as well. God is good and he will deliver us if we ask in faith and believe what we pray.

I will pray for Joseph; that he be delivered from his alcoholism. Adictions of any sort are always hard to beat. But, they can with help from Christ.
I have seen in my family and have had trouble myself, overcoming areas in my life that have caused me concern and heartache. So, I understand your needs and worries for Joseph.
Scripture and prayer, I find, help the most when one is seeking help and answers. One of the best, in my opinion, comes from Philippians 4:19: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Another that provides protection and comfort comes from: Psalm 91: 1-2 KJV: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, {He is} my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."
Hold fast to your prayer and faith in God and He will answer you, according to your needs and grace that comes Him.

I agree with you in prayer and the precious name of Jesus Christ that the family bondage of alcoholism is broken by the generation of men that the two boys are becoming. May the Holy Spirit intervene and bind the demons of alcohol and depression, and God bless you and keep you and this family. Make each member grow deeper in a relationship with Christ and especially for Joseph's salvation and to become a warrior for the Lord.
