God is in Control and God is at Work

I remind myself every day of these two truths and most everyone has heard me repeat them over and over again or also write them to others. Let us today take time to establish these truths in our hearts and they will become our convictions.
We may agree with these truths but these truths are very powerful to those who believe them. These two statements have power to bring us peace and confidence in the God of our salvation and He does all things well.
When we lose sight of these truths then we are plunged into confusion, fear and doubt but as long as we believe and confess them, we know His love and mercy will cover us as we are His redeemed children.
The Spirit of God asked me, “What is your problem, when you truly believe these truths?!
God is our living Father-God (John 6:57)
GOD IS IN CONTROL –
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth Gen. 1: 1
Let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice: and let all men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth. 1 Chron. 16: 31
The Spirit of God hath made me and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job 33: 4
The Lord reigneth, He is clothed with majesty: the Lord is clothed with strength wherewith He hath girded Himself: the world also is established that it cannot be moved. Ps.93: 1
The Lord reigneth: let the earth rejoice: let the multitude of isles be glad thereof Ps.97: 1
The Lord reigneth: let the people tremble: He sitteth between the cherubims. Ps.99:1
O King and this is the decree of the most High which is come upon my lord the king till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever He will. Dan. 4: 25
Now I Nebuchadnerzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth and His ways judgment: and those that walk in pride He is able to abase. V. 37 Who is like our God? Ex.15: 11-18 (but soon they forgot)
God has redeemed us through Calvary’s sacrifice and we belong to Him 1 Peter 18, 19
We are in the palm of His Hand & none can pluck us out John: 10: 29
God is not a man that He should lie, nor the Son of man that He should repent: hath He said, and
Shall He not do it? Hath He spoken and shall He not make it good? Num. 23: 19
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand and I will do all My pleasure: calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth My counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass: I have purposed it, I will also do it. Isa. 46: 10, 11
…He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His Hand, or say unto Him, what doest Thou? Dan.4: 35
GOD IS AT WORK
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure Phil 2: 13
And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them and not forsake them. Isa. 42: 16
He maketh me to lie down……He leadeth me……. )
He restoreth my soul………He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness….) Ps. 23
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: )
Thou anointest my head with oil…. )
I will deliver him…..I will set him on high….I will answer him )
I will be with him in trouble… I will deliver him and honour him.) Ps. 91
I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation )
I will perfect that which concerneth thee Ps. 138: 8
He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him….2 Tim. 1: 12
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren Rom. 8:28, 29
I have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into His kingdom Col. 1: 13, 14
By His stripes I have been healed …1 Peter 2: 24
If God be for us who can be against us? Rom. 8: 31
He will bring the counsel of the heathen to nought Ps.33: 10
They that despise thee shall come bending down to your feet Isa. 60:14
Stand still and see….the Lord will fight for you…hold your peace Ex.14:13, 14
My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Phil. 4: 19
Jesus destroyed the works of the devil 1 John 3: 8
Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men… Matt. 4: 19
There are many, many more Scriptures conveying statements of facts and promises and they establish us in the faith. When we are convinced of these truths and confess them, they become our confidence and will bring us through for the glory of God no matter what we go through!!! Trials and hard situations are to refine us and make us more and more like Jesus!!
Read the above and let your spirit absorb the truths and you will never be the same again in your Christian walk and you will become a fruit-bearing branch for the glory of God.
I have personally lived by these many truths and I have many, many testimonies of His Faithfulness to His Word.
GOD CANNOT LIE!!
GOD CANNOT FAIL!!
GOD NEVER PUTS HIS PEOPLE TO SHAME THAT PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIM!!
GOD NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE FOR HE SEES THE END FROM THE BEGINNING!!
