God's Timing

Can you recommend a good book on "God's Timing"
I was just told recently that I may have missed opportunities because I wasn't aware of God's Timing?!
Can you help please?

Hi Kelly,

I think there is a big misconception about being in God's timing. If somebody says you missed opportunities, how do they know? Did they hear from God about you? I don't know all the circumstances surrounding your situation, but just know that hearing from God yourself is the key.

And yes, I mean that YOU will hear from God, not usually somebody else. Sometimes there are occasions where God will confirm something on your behalf to somebody, but most of the time, your life is between you and God.

That being said, I would recommend the book by Joyce Meyer, "How to Hear From God". Joyce is one of my all time favorite authors on the practical, "how to apply your faith to everyday situations" scenarios.

Kelly, it really is possible for you to get really good at hearing from God. It takes practice and a commitment that you're going to spend time getting to know Him and His character. But once you do, you'll be amazed how your eyes will be opened.
