Get into His Word, ask God for guidance and He will give you wisdom. When faced with what voice to listen to check Scripture, pray, and wait for your answer.
Sometimes we think we have heard from the Lord and it is just our own voice speaking. But Got hasn't ask us to be perfect, just to obey His Word to the most of our ability. If you make a mistake God is forgiving and sometimes He even allows mistakes in order to teash. So don't fret about it, just get into His Word, and read it daily. Shirley.

hearing God's voice by: thelma
Diana, you can know God's voice....because God said that you "the sheep will know the shepred's voice."
and it will come from deep inside your spirit.
it will always agree with what the bible says.
the closer you become in relationship with the Lord Jesus, and the Father God, the more you will be able to reconize His voice.
stay in the Word, and pray and you will begin to hear the voice , of God. we are not directed to seek voices, of any nature, and you will not hear an audiable voice, but that quite soft voice of His Holy Spirit.
in His love,
thelma

God's Voice by: Karen
Hi Diana,
Hearing from God is a skill that you learn just like lots of other skills. His voice comes through in lots of different ways. I wrote an article on the site about this at
Personally, I hear from God a lot in His Word. During my daily bible reading time, I read verses that speak very clearly about something going on in my life. It is amazing how relevant the Word is to everyday life.
I also see and hear God in my circumstances. There are times when I can't help but smile because I know God is talking to me and it couldn't get any clearer without using a billboard! :)
Mostly, I follow peace. When you have an ongoing relationship with God, there is a sense of peace that follows you. When things happen and I'm faced with decisions, I always check to see if I feel peaceful. That doesn't mean I always make the right decision, but it does mean I'm doing my best to include God in all that I do.
Diana, this is definitely a case where practice makes perfect. The more you try to hear God, the more He'll talk to you.
