how long do I have to wait to meet the right guy?

by Sh E
(U.S)

I belive in god from my heart. I trust him.
he gives me everything I want right a way, but I don't know why he doesn't give me the right guy.
I feel so lonely and I want a partner in my life to make a family and have children.
I still hope that one day I meet the right guy, but I think I just try to make myself happy!
I just want to know why god gives me everything I want, but the husband!
nobody knows how much I feel lonely, but god.
I am not a bad person but I am not the perfect one either. but maybe god forgot to make a partner for me.
I know , getting married is not everything in our life. but I really want it. I want to make a family and have a child.
just pray for me please.
Thank you
SH

On The Way
by: Adam

I may be a bit out of place here (I am by no means a woman), but I happened to run across a link to this very post.

Your cried to God seem to very much echo my own, and what seem to be the cries of many other men and women out there seeking that "soul mate" or what have you. Don't think for a second you're not alone in what you're going through.

I also want to point out that Jesus himself said, "Ask and ye shall receive," which is in direct contradiction to what many Christians believe in order to justify not getting what they want on THEIR time or, perhaps even, that God is no longer listening because they stepped out of God's graces and dare not see that truth themselves. As long as you have faith and believe in your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour who died for your sins and have made your life right (and continue to try and keep it right) in God's eyes, your prayers WILL be answered. Unfortunately for us, it's not always WHEN we want it. It may take time, but if you feel you're right with God, don't believe for a second that God is holding back his blessings for you because he has them on the way. You'll find what you're looking for when you least expect it and God will make sure it's as perfect an experience for you as it can be.

God Bless,

Adam

Hi Sh e,

Have you ever heard the saying, "Timing is everything"? Well, that pretty much says it.

Only, it's not your timing, it's God's timing.

You are lucky if you feel like God answers all your prayers right away. That usually doesn't happen.

Sh e, becoming a mature Christian means growing in your relationship with Christ every day. It means you come to a place where what God wants for you is what you want for you. And if it isn't, then your prayer becomes, "Father, change my mind."

God isn't a kind of Santa Claus that exists merely so we can ask for all kinds of stuff and expect to see it all show up on Christmas morning. And just because we want something, it surely doesn't mean we're going to get it.

Sometimes God withholds the very thing we want the most because He wants us to want HIM more than we want the thing. He wants us to seek HIS face MORE than we seek His hand. Do you see what I mean?

Sh e, it may be that God is preparing you to be married during this time. There may be things in your life that are not conducive to being married. Or it may be that God needs you to be single right now because He needs to use you in some capacity where being married would be a hindrance.

Sh e, submit yourself and your life to what God wants. He wants you to be happy MORE than you do. Look for ways to be a blessing to somebody else. Ask God to show you what HE would have you do and where HE would have you go.

When you focus on God and His stuff, HE will surely focus on you and your stuff.

Be blessed,

Karen
