Hi, I found out 2 months back that my husband is committing adultery too. I've 2 young children, 5 and 1 yr old.....he's so firm that he cant find back the feelings for me, and he is madly in love with this new woman.
God, you have said that it is your will that children grow up with their fathers and mothers, it is your will that husband and wife do death till they part. Please dear lord jesus, please sanctify my husband, touch his heart through me, and unite him and make his love for you and your ways grown by each passing day, along with the feelings for me. May you intervene in his adulterous realtionship with that immoral woman, in anyway you find suitable.

I am in a very similiar situation. We would have been married 10 years on Oct 23, he informed me he wanted a divorce on Oct 6. He said he just couldn't deal anymore. Within one month he was seen out with another woman. I know her. She just divorced her husband very suddenly this year. They were together in January-they came to my husband's grandfather's funeral. She filed for divorce and it was finalized QUICKLY. I found out after they were seen together that she has been after my husband for a while and was very subtle. My husband was her "ear" when she was having problems. They said he just listened for a while and then he and I ONE argument that made him mad and off he went to her with his problems. She reminded him of our past issues and he was gone. He is insistent that he did not leave me for her, but they are together constantly-and they work together. I am not stupid. She left her husband because of money issues. She was forced to move back in with her mother and step-father, with her 2 boys. She realized she can't make it on her own and needs help finacially. Anyway, I know she will not be good to my husband, nor does she love him, and as soon as something better comes along she will be gone. I, too, am praying that my husband will return to me and our 4 year old son. I know what God's Will is-it is for a husband and wife to be together until death separates them. The problem is Satan. I am praying that God can intervene and save my husband from Satan. My husband was one of the most devote Christians I have ever known-until October. I will say a prayer for you as well. I will prayer for your marriage and I ask that you also pray for mine. My husband has not cheatted to my knowledge but is asking for a divorce. I too have been married for 13 years (as of next week), I too have a husband who has cheated and my husband also has been asking for a divorce on and off the last few months. I recently turned my life over to God and have been told that this change would be hard for some people in my life to deal with and that the enemy (devil) would come after me to try and make me fall.
