God Will Recompense
by: Woman of God

Only this morning I had was engaged in a heated debate with my husband and oldest son who believe that gender bias does not exist because they have not personally experienced. I a lawyer, law professor, teacher in ministry, to name a few things. I face gender bias on a daily basis, expecially in ministry. But God. He is the auther and finisher of my faith. He knows all and sees all and will recompense.

I am What God Says I am
by: Ilyne from Jamaica

Thanks for this list of God's affirmation of who I really am I wanted to do a study on this as a part of my journey to self discovery in Christ. This is certainly a kick start for me. I am trying to discovery who God says I am trying to break free from the negative self image I grew up with and what the world says. I want toredefine and build my self esteem base on CHrist. Thanks much.

direct answer to prayer
by: Anne-Laure

thank you so much for this. I just needed a 'quick' way to speak scripture into my life so I googled what does God say I am and this page came up. Just brilliant and perfect timing. Thank you Lord.

Very good stuff. I appreciate it. The Matthew 8:7 is a stretch though.

I am What God Says I am
by: Faith

The bible says that in the beginning there was the Word and the Word was God.. (John 1:1) When He spoke, it was so. I have come to understand that God can not lie. (Hebrews 6:18) If He cannot lie, who does He declare I am? This lead me to search for the answer. Seek and ye shall find. (Matt 7:7)

God lead me to this website. I will meditate on His word and who He says I am so I can truly walk in it.

God Bless you for creating this site and doing the will of the Father.

Wonderful!
by: Adenike

I'm glad that I found this site today. I was just surfing the net to know what I mean to God, to know who God says I am and I came across this. I needed to know that I'm not who the world says I am. I need to know that i have someone up there who thinks more of me and as it is His opinion that counts most in my life, I needed to know how He sees me.
God bless you Margret for this wonderful and beautiful compilation. May your soul be watered even as you have watered mine.
Kind regards!

The woman
by: Anonymous

I have this site saved as a favorite and have read it a number of times, out loud, to continuously speak it into being. This time when I read "daughter of the Almighty God" it jumped out at me. The implied male gender in the many Bible translations has taken its toll on me after all of these years and to be called "daughter of the Almighty God" lifts me up where I belong with God. God doesn't need to get past my gender, but instead uses it to His advantage in whatever important task He needs completed. Higher than my gender, I am fearfully and wonderfully made for a time such as this. Satan has done a good job minimizing women especially in the form of pay: if the world can deem it a woman's job, then that job will not pay very well, oppressing the woman and her worth. But God is not gender bias and he will reward. Soloman said to fear the Lord (in reverance)and obey. That's what I do and that gives me many benefits from the Lord.

thankful in Alaska
by: Shelia

I am very thankful that Margaret gathered the information and compiled this list. I am also very thankful that this website was still up and running so I could obtain this information and combat the the major negativity I face at work, the spiritual warfare I face on a daily basis. I plan on printing the title, author and list out and hanging it on my wall at work so when the days are rough, I have this column to reflect on as I pray for peace and calm.

We need to be reminded sometimes that God loves us because of the world around us and all the hate.

Thanks!
by: Lynn Mosher

Thanks for the encouragement to all of us of the things Christ died to give each one of us as believers. It is always a shot in the arm, or rather to the spirit, to remind ourselves of these things.
