MY LIFE TESTIMONY



Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is alive and change the lives of people. My name was K.Srinivasa Rao sreenu. I was born in a Hindu idolatry family and lived in a village called Siripuram. In my childhood we used to worship different kinds of gods and goddesses and we observed different religious traditions and celebrate so many festivals. On a festival called "NAGULACHAVITHI" Snakes festival we worship snakes and offer milk and other things to them. Once I fell from a high river bank and then got fever because of fear. My parents were very much worried and with the advise of some people they prepared a special oblation and at midnight they took that to the outskirts of the village and left it there for evil spirits. Like this I lived in darkness and in ignorance. I was saved from many life threatening dangers, because of God’s invisible helping hand only. But I did not recognize His love and plan for me. I did not have any opportunity to have a glance at the Bible during my early childhood because there were no Christians in my whole village.



Due to my mother’s job we were transferred to some other place called Gantyada. During my school days with my little knowledge I used to think and talk like an Atheist… Isaiah 47:10, Psalm 14:01. One lady near to my house got healed from Cancer and living as a witness to Jesus. She used to conduct prayers in her house weekly. I was very much interested in singing as God gave me the talent of Singing. So I used to attend that house prayer and learned some Christian songs. That was the first time in my life I had a chance to listen to the word of God and read the Bible. God has given me singing talent and it is much blessing to me in my ministry now. For my college studies I went to Vijayanagaram city. During my college days I used to lead a worldly life with all worldly pleasures and lead sinful life. Because of my sinful life I had no peace and joy in my heart.



I used to be a nominal Christian and attend to one of the big Church in the city.Though I read Bible I could not understand or remember the word of God at all. I was subjected to depression, restlessness and used to lead a life without hope. Many times I tried to live good Christian life but every time it ended up unsuccessful. I was fully disappointed about this and used to think that God helps only to good people and not a sinner like me. But Bible says in Luke 19:10 "he came to save sinners….. ." Many days I was in blindness to the real truth II cor 4: 4.



Though outwardly I used to be cheerful and make others happy but there was no peace within me Prov 14:13. Some times I used to think that I may not live longer. During this critical times of my life I happened to attend one revival meeting in 1991 May 19-21 invited by one Pastor who loved me and praying for me. In those meetings I was touched by the Lord and felt a heavy burden lifted up from my heart. Instead of depression, restlessness my heart was filled with great joy and peace which I could not describe in words I peter 1:8. I got feeling that I was flying in the air and could see newness in me and around everything I see II Cor 5:17. Then my Bible reading was meaningful, interesting and felt that God was talking to me directly. What a great joyful day that was in my life.



In my Christian walk with Jesus he has been doing many miracles in my life. I learned some good lessons when I went through hard times and shadow of darkness in my life. He was with me and strengthened with His words Psm 23:4. After completion of my Masters degree in sociology I worked as a Teacher and hostel warden in social organization and also participated in some ministry work. Lord used me to bless and enlighten the people around me and in my work place for His glory. I used to fast and pray for His guidance to do full time ministry.



He miraculously led me to His ministry and strengthened me with His words Isaiah 41:10 "I am with you and will strengthen You"....Joshua 1:9 …Be with you where ever you go "…… He has been leading, strengthening in His work and promised me to make me a blessing for others. Amen. I have a great zeal to do something for the Lord and win many souls for His kingdom Psalm 2:8. Please pray for me to accomplish my goals according to His will so that His name will be Glorified. Please pray for me and my ministry work. I like one Quotation written by one former Servant of God.
