Inspite of Everything, God Can!

Praise the Lord, God has been good to me in spite of what I am going through. I have so many testimonies but just to share a few; In 2004 I was weighing in at 536 pounds and and could not walk without horrific knee pain so I decided to have the gastric bypass and God took me through that successfully and three month into my losing weight, I was at work and all of a sudden my legs gave and I hit the floor and did not walk since that day. I had lost all feelings from the waist down. I was bed ridden for months and I prayed and ask God for divine healing and God transitioned me from the bed to a wheel chair then to a walker. All this time I was a 44 year old full time student in College. My then 11 year old daughter would go to college with me to help me in and out of the class room in my chair. I continued to pray and God delivered me completely from that chair and to this day I have lost 258 pounds. Also during that period I lost my mother to Cancer February 2005 and I was the primary caretaker for my 95 years old grandfather with the help of my three children and husband. The Lord took him home January 2006. My home was not perfect my spouse is an alcoholic and I also found out that he was a drug user too and I was sick of the fighting and the mental abuse. My two youngest children ages 15 and 18 has problems with behavior and they have a lot of anger inside. My oldest 28 is protective of me and he also has alot of hurt inside. I finally left my spouse March 2008 but the damage to my family is already embedded, and I am praying that God release them from these bondages. God has shielded us from so many things seen and unseen. He has blessed me to graduate from college at the age of 45 with my BA degree and has put me in the school system to work with children. He is also preparing me now to go back to school for my masters degree because I want to help children who feel as through their world in up side down like I did and to let them know that God is able and GOD CAN! Today I am an Evangelist striving day by day to work for the Lord in what ever capacity I can.
