Knowing my true calling in the Lord

Karen,

My question is how can I know for sure that it is God calling me to Minister (to preach) to his people
or if it is me confusing preaching and teaching.

At various times in my life I have felt God calling me in this direction, and I keep telling myself no he's calling you to be a teacher, I enjoy studying his word and have lead the Women's ministry in our church for 3 years and then moved on so for the last 2 years I have been just singing in the choir, and now again I'm getting that feeling that God wants more from me than this, and again I feel that tugging.
I want to ask my Pastor or just inquire of one of the Women Ministers that are in my church.
The prospect of standing in front of the congregation is frightening. But I need to know. If it's Gods will I know that it will come to pass and I want to be in his will not in his way.
