Living in Amazing Grace
by Denise Mistich
Living in Amazing Grace means you know Christ. My name is Denise Mistich and I’m a Christaholic. I came from a religious family, and was raised in church. However, from the time I turned 14, rebellion became my goal in life. I made decisions to change my life as an adult, but the guilt that I carried from those teen-age years stayed with me. By the time I hit my mid thirties I had fallen and could not get up! I did not have a good marriage and was living in bad circumstances. I was in a deep depression and on the verge of suicide. Yet, I could not climb out from under the guilt I carried, so I stayed in living hell, taking 14 pills a day to stay alive! In my late thirties God spoke directly to me, lifted the guilt from my shoulders and began the process of redemption. He just stepped in when I was at my lowest point and with His words, He healed me. He brought me happiness! That is Amazing Grace! I currently study with a group called Cross Style International Ministries and more importantly with a teacher called Jesus. I’m not a doctor or minister, but I am a disciple (at least in the making).
