Please pray for I have met someone online we have been chatting for 3 weeks now. What I am asking that we are not in the flesh but walking in Love agape Love. We have started talking about sex which is normal but Please pray that it does not turn into lust for we both have a past in it. Please I am also asking God for confirmation on him and that if so he makes a so that we can see each other we are across the nation. Prayer for protection that we chat about Godly things putting God first we really don't know much about christian courtship this is both are first since being with the Lord so I ask that God fills us both with Goldy wisdom discernment that we speak about God prayer for each other and wait for the appointed time I really sense he is the one for me but Just need that little extra prayer of encouragement in Jesus Name

Thank You for your respond on the online dating! Yes I am aware of red flags of talking so soon about sex. I have asked God for wisdom and discerment! I guess I might of spoekn a bit too much of my past and open up a door thinking that it would bring Glory to God!! Please keep me in prayer for this. if is is not of God then I ask God to remove it to guard mt heart. That it would bring him Glory!! Thank You!!

Mari, it sounds so nice that you met someone on line and you sound very happy.

I'm sorry I do not have faith in on-line dating. My own experience has proven that it is tempting and the devil's work. I need to hear more success stories before I can support you.

For now I will pray that you be strong and healthy. Listen to the voice of the Lord, and you know in your heart what the right thing to do is. I pray for your patience and knowledge. You are a new Christian, that is wonderful but you will be vulnerable if you talk about sex too soon in this cyber-dating.

Listen to the Lord... sit quietly, be calm and always do the right thing. You will be fine.

 Ask for God's wisdom

Online relationships can be rich and blessed by God, but it is very easy to be deceived, too. It is extremely unusual for sex to be a subject of conversation this early in an online relationship. That is a red flag of warning for you to beware.
This is the right time to ask God for wisdom. I will pray with you that God will make you wise and careful. I am so very happy that you have opened your heart to Christ. He will give you wisdom if you ask, and he will give you strength, too, to do what is right for you.
We all have history, and it is often hard to overcome our history. I pray God will keep you safe.

Mari,

Please be careful with this person. An online relationship can be dangerous, for you can't really tell what this person is like.

The fact that sexual content has taken place already, is a warning of things to come.

Take it slow, but know that getting to know someone offline has a much better chance of success.
