my own story

(Paragould - Arkansas)
When I was born, I needed blood transfusions, since I was born in December of 1930, some things were not as advanced as they are now, and the doctors did not expect me to live even one day. but now that I am 77 years old, I see that the Lord was right there, and directed the doctors and I did live.
I always felt that since the Lord gave me my life, I want to give it back to Him -
I have several experiences that were unusual with the Lord, even starting at age 10 - I was in bed and afraid (no reason, just being a little girl) and I felt like the Lord came up the stairs and into my bedroom, and sat on a chair right next to the bed, I felt perfect peace and fell asleep -
I tell that story over and over -
later I met the love of my life and we went into full time Christian ministry, printing full color gospel tracts - for over 30 years we did this and
we raised seven children, who love the Lord.
I feel like along with other things I have a healing ministry - one day in church, a man came front for healing, I did not know the man, two men helped him get to the front of the church -
I felt led to go to the front and pray for him - and when I got up front I was praying and when I opened my eyes, I found myself face to face with this man, so I said to him "what can't you do?"
he said, "I can't walk."
(and here is where the Lord took over)
I said, "Oh, yes, you can, take my hand."
and we walked together across the front of the church.
I was as surprised as he was !
Now, what is the miracle about this whole thing is:
I do not like to touch strangers, and do not like them to touch me. And here I am, telling this man to take my hand.
so that is another unusual touch from the Lord.
I could write a book about my experiences, but so far, have not done it.
I lost my husband of almost 60 years in June of 1977 - and the Lord has helped me greatly through all of that.
What I am doing now, since I am still here, is just trying to be used of the Lord until He comes for me.
I was raised in Lebanon, PA - then my husband and I lived in Baldwinsville, NY (right near Syracuse) for 37 years, and then 6 years ago we retired to Arkansas.
My husband is buried here in Arkansas, and I now live with one of my daughters and her husband. - I am not happy living alone, and here I have great grandchldren to enjoy.
They encourage me along the way ! - Thank you, Lord, for Christian children.
