The "No Whining" Zone

Help Stop the Whining!

What? No whining? What will we talk about?

There is much to be said for eliminating this irritant from your life. Of course, whining is a very close relative to complaining, and we all know how easy that horrible habit is to sustain.

I think the worst offenders are usually kids. It seems we've given them a sense of entitlement as they were raised, and when things don't go according to their plan, well.......we get that inevitable, irritating, voice. Ugh.

So what do you do about it? What happens when you've had enough and now you're going to stop this unending torment from making you completely nuts?

I recently discovered some effective online parenting help. According to Ron Huxley, a Licensed Family Therapist, using distraction, a "wants list", and effective discipline are ways to help you get control.

I'm not talking about behavior in your kids or teens that is completely out of control.

This is more about that constant nagging that seems to show up at the most inopportune moments.

And what about co-workers? Or even whining Christians? It seems there's always somebody around that loves the sound of that nagging voice.

The good news is that we can all get this thing under control if we put our heads together to find what works.

OK, Here's Your Chance to Tell ALL.......How Do you Stop the Whining in Your House or Workplace?

What works? Do you have a chronic whiner in your life? How do you handle it?

It's really hard to work with somebody that whines constantly. I know because I have to work with someone who looks for a reason to whine and complain....
