praying aloud

by FRANSCINE
(JAMAICA WI)

on your site and in my church also they advocate the power of the spoken word. however, part of my illness is the inability to speak clearly does this mean I am at a disadvantage for having my prayers for healing answered?

praying aloud
by: Ann

Absolutely not! Prayers spoken or unspoken are given equal time. Our Lord is "no respector" of people--which means each person can have that special connection with God, with or without one's voice...

Keep doing what you're doing...praying your way and rest assured, you will be heard..

Wonderful question
by: Anonymous

What a wonderful question you've posed. I just like to first acknowledge God as a healer, a wonderful listener, an awesome counseler, a righteous God.

God knows our hearts and he says that even before you ask of Him our petitions He will answer. Tat is just awesome! Do you remember Hannah in the Bible?

She was hurting so bad, the Bible says she rised up, and prayed in a unique manner. She prayed from her heart and soul. Her lips moved, and her heart spoke. And God heard her. God knows, He always does. I do not know His timetables, and how He'll work it out, I just know that He can!

Be encouraged, God loves you, and with His love, I love you, too!

Praying the Scriptures
by: Karen

Hi Franscine,

The purpose of praying out loud, or praying the scriptures out loud over your situation is to show God that you believe what He says, and that His word is more powerful than any circumstances.

It is saying that you are more convinced that what you don't see is more powerful than what you do see.

Whenever you do anything, God looks at your motive. He is always looking at why you do things.

And Franscine, even more amazing, God is able to read your heart like nobody else.

Just know that even though what comes out of your mouth may not sound exactly perfect to your ears, it sounds perfectly heavenly to God's ears.

Blessings,

Karen
