praying for my husband

by stephanie perez
(tampa fl)

Hello I am a mother of 4 and a wife that was raised in church knowing and believing in jesus christ.
My husband is an unbeliever he has been saved and backslid but he does not believe in the holy ghost or shouting or speaking in tounges he sometimes laughs at me as im going to church and in front of my children as well. How do I pray for him to trust in God and become a christian again it seems like my life is good and perfect until I try talking about God to him he gets up and acts like he's shouting and laughing he says he's playing but I have felt God's power and it is nothing to play about. I don't have the money for the books i'm in schooll for medical; can you help me I have prayed for so long for God to take him in his arms and show him the way and to turn my household in to a christian home.

Example of a Christian
by: Karen

Hi Stephanie,

It's not easy to act like a Christian when you're surrounded by people who make it difficult. But that's what God calls you to do. Keep praying and keep showing your husband what a real Christian looks like.

One of the most powerful tools in a Christian arsenal is the ability to be calm in the midst of the storms of life. Trusting God completely is an awesome thing to watch, especially when the person watching wants to have that peace.

Stephanie, keep praying and keep loving your husband. Show him just how lucky you are to be a Christian. God will honor your faith and someday He will send somebody into your husband's life that will make the difference for him.

Be blessed,

Karen

Let go and let God
by: Anonymous

The enemy is real, I never knew that until I see how his hold is on unbelievers. Live your life as an example to your husband of what Christ can do in your life and God says that he will be unable to stop himself from being won over to Him. It will happen one day when you aren't even expecting it, that is how God works. God bless and keep praying from him but just surrender him to our Father's capable hands.
