Reassurance

by Di Poulin
(Danvers, MA)

It was not too long
Ago that I shared
With all of you,
That I lost one of
My sisters to cancer

Now I just received
The news that I have
Cancer

My cancer is different
From what my sister
Had, which took her
Life

Instead of been given
A death sentence, I
Have been given a life
Sentence

I am blessed that my
Cancer was discovered
Early, it is grade one

And with a simple
Operation I will be
Cancer free

There was a time in
My life that I would
Have become bitter
About this whole
Thing

Why did my Lorry
Have to die and
Not me

But I am so thankful
To God that I am not
Bitter

And though I may not
Totally understand the
Passing of my sister

At least I have the
Reassurance that
Heaven is her home

Also, I feel,why should
I be bitter when God
Has, and continues to
Be, so good to me

So many people in
Our world are in and
Out of hospitals with
So many heath issues

Many of them have
Had more than their
Share of being
Operated on

And my life has been
The total opposite of
That

So that Is why I am
So thankful!!!

I also have so much love
And support from family,
Friends and loved ones

I also have the wonderful
Reassurance of knowing
Our God is going be with
Me in the operating room
When I have my surgery

I am so amazed how God
Has used this in my life to
See this as something to
Be very grateful for and
Making this a great
Blessing for me as well

God is good!!!

My heart and prayers
Go out to all that have
Cancer

May everyone of them
Receive their Miracles
In which God sees fit, to
Give each, according to
His riches in Glory!!!

May Our Lord keep us
All safe, He truly holds
Us all in His heart as
Well as in His Hands

God bless you all!!!

Love, Di

My prayers
by: Anonymous

I pray that you have a healthy recovery and that you may be a inspiration to others who might not look at their life and cancer the way you do. I pray the Lord can work through you to help others by giving them hope during such a horrible time in their life.
Amen

Reassurance
by: Ann

Wonderful article on reassurance and from the blessings that you are receiving from God and your words of 'reassurance,' we, too, are blest!

God will provide for you and your words attest to that...

It seems no matter what illness or challenge that we're presented with, He will give us no more than we can handle and like Job, will bring us through--richer in so many ways...

God Bless and will hold fast to prayers of faith and healing for you...

Ann
