Great Article. The metaphor about drinking posion and hoping the other person dies brought me complete clarity!!!! I have been struggling with forgiving my ex husband and his former mistress (current girlfriend). This article did it, it was the icing on the cake. Thank you !!!

Sister, you article is very true. If you do not forgive, you will only make yourself ill with bitterness and resentment. Always know that you are God's princess, the best in the world and anyone that can cause such hurt, has just lost out on a beautiful opportunity. Your gain and their loss. Forgiveness makes you free indeed!

Very engaging piece on the issue of unforgiveness and its effects. Inspiring. I very much like the language and the way in which the message was delivered. Perhaps the kernel for a short story!
