Sara: DON'T GIVE UP! I have been separated ten months and married for 25 years. I have fought and fought to try to salvage and fix it, and have now noticed that once I stopped trying to fix it and put it in God's hands, I have now noticed subtle but definite changes in my husband. I was going to give up but the priest at my church said NO, NO, NO!!!!
Pray, pray, and keep praying - rosaries, the chaplet of Divine Mercy, etc. Father said to pray to Jesus and anyone who is standing for their marriages, that Jesus will "enlighten the prodigal's mind and eyes, to soften his heart", etc. I am constantly praying this for myself and for ALL of us. Have faith!. I have really struggled with this, but I have prayed and prayed for patience in all of this, and am just now finding I am totally able to let it go and leave it in God's hands.
Jesus believes in marriages, families and our vows!

My husband wants a divorce and we have been separated almost 3 months. I believe in my heart that God will save our marriages if we truly have faith. I pray that the Lord remove any relationships and obstacles that are standing in the the way of restoring our marriages to what God wants them to be. Nothing is impossible with God and as long as you have faith in Him he will hear and answer your prayers. I have been told to let it go and move on, why should we? We took a vow before God and he would not want us to give up. I gave my marriage and husband to God to fix, I have no doubt he is working quietly but surely to restore it. I will pray that he restore your marriage also. Divorce is an epidemic in today's world. People are using it as a easy way out instead of working at the problems they have. Please help me pray for all the spouses who are on the losing side of a major battle. God bless you and your children, I pray that the Holy Spirit come to your wife and help open her eyes to do the right thing for your marriage and your children.
