Salvation

I have a friend that is into false religions. He really needs prayer. He has a very hard heart and does not believe that God loves him. I have been his friend for almost two years and I cannot seem to find the right words. I pray that someone who is filled with the holy spirit will bring him to the Lord. to show him that God truly loves and cares for him. God has laid him on my heart for several weeks now.

May our Lord, God, the Heavenly Father call your friend to return. May he harden his heart and turn from the false teachers he has followed, may he hear the lies of the false prophets he has followed for the falsehoods they are. May he open his heart to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and follow His way. May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon him, that he find his way to the Truth of the Bible and God's word.

Hi Patricia,

In this the 21st century it is so easy to gravitate to a false religion and I can relate to what you're saying.

Like you, I have struggled and continue to struggle, with a few who have gone another way--a way that appears right but in actuality, it leads only to confusion, discouragment and sometimes disaster.

The best, I think, anyone can do in such a situation is continue to be a friend and by a Christian example and prayer, hopefully will turn to Christ and the Truth.

As you know this can be frustrating and discouraging.

Christ lead by example and was a man of action and as Christians, we can do the same.

Don't give up on your friend and by prayer and Christian example--which you're doing--hopefully this person will come to see the light--
