You wake up one
Morning finding
Yourself enjoying
The simple pleasure
Of waking up

You can hear the
Birds singing and
Children playing

The touch of a
Loved one

Giving and receiving
A hug

These are some of
The simple pleasures
Of life

Going to work and
Driving a car

Walking, running,
Playing with a child


Holding hands, love,
And commitment

Again these are
Some of the simple
Pleasures of life

Boating, fishing,
And swimming

Movies, T.V.,
And reading

Going out to eat
And dancing

I could go on and
On, but the list is
Just too long

We all take these
Simple pleasures
For granted

They are not a given,
So cherish them dearly

Remember, our God
Gives us all today, with
No promise of tomorrow

For some reason today
It all just seems to mean
So much more to me

Join me now to thank
Our Lord for all of the
Simple pleasures of
Life He gives us all

The best part is that
We have a personal
Relationship with our
Wonderful Maker and
Wonderful Savior

Life's simple pleasures can never touch that!!!
