The Ultimate Soul Seeker

The Heir

by Paul Robertson

Karen's Book Review

If ever there was a soul seeker, it's the main character in "The Heir". Wow, what a book. This is truly one of the best Christian fiction books I've read in a long time. It pretty much has it all...intrigue, romance, power, money, and that's just in the first couple of chapters.

The main character in this book really struggles with his choices. Instinctively he knows there's more to life than money and power and all that other stuff, but he just doesn't know about the "more" part.

As he struggles with all that's worldly, he remains a soul seeker at heart. He knows there must be a purpose to life, and he thinks if he can find someone to show him that purpose, that somehow everything in his life will make sense.

Unfortunately he doesn't realize that in order to find his life purpose, he needs to find the place inside him where his spirit lives. Because God wants His spirit to lead through the mind, the will, and the emotions, (the soul), it becomes a very confused and complicated mess when you don't start with the spirit.

I was very impressed with the author's descriptions, humor, and ability to keep leading the story so you can't put the book down. I read many books, so I love it when an author writes this well. If you're a Christian fiction fan, this is a must read.

But, that being said, I wish the author would've been a bit less subtle showing the main character's need for Christianity. I kept hoping he would introduce a real soul seeker, a strong Christian that could really show what happens when you really "get it".

I know you'd like to have this book. So how do you get it CHEAP?
