Taking a stand for Christ

Sometimes we, as Christians, don't rightfully take a stand for Christ around secular people. We laugh at their jokes, listen to their party stories and then feel guilty when we are alone because we feel the tug of the Holy Spirit saying "you should have reacted differently, they will think you are just like the world".
Well, let me tell you how you can remedy that. In your prayer time you ask God to show you how to make that difference when you are among your co-workers or non-believers. And I guarantee the Lord will give you what to say.
You don't have to come on strong, just make sure you incorporate Jesus Christ in your conversation.
When they finish talking you can say something like "The other day when I was coming home from church I went over to Johnsons and I noticed that they had that product you like on sale".
Or "I am so glad that my mechanic is a Christian, because he always gives me the best deals and best service".
We are here to plant a seed or water a seed that has been planted and when you find yourself in a situation where you are in a position to water or plant, do so. Because the opportunity always presents itself.
