The Divine Mentor ... Learn from the Best
The Divine Mentor"The Divine Mentor" is one of the best books on bible study that I've ever read. The author, Wayne Cordeiro, describes reading the Bible as a way to sit at the feet of the many characters and heroes of the Bible as they teach you. What a concept. Cordeiro says the many heroes of the Bible learned, experienced, and grew in their walk with God through the many things they went through. He feels we can all learn from those lessons and avoid some of life's mistakes instead of learning the hard way. The book also promotes daily Bible devotions as a way to let the Holy Spirit give you a new nugget of teaching every single day. It describes a method of learning that is simple, easy to understand, and very effective. I know it's very effective because I started using it as soon as I finished reading this book. After a few weeks, I can now say that it is a really great way to open yourself to God and hear what He wants to tell you every single day. There is a tremendous amount of merit to talking directly to God and letting Him talk to you daily. It gives you the foundation on which you can rely no matter what else is going on in your life. I find myself remembering more scripture and seeing how the lessons apply directly to my life. I highly recommend this book, especially if you're interested in finding an easy way to start a dialogue with God. So how do you get this book and get it CHEAP?
