The Wisdom of a Child

Beautiful Girl
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." III John 1:4
The hope I wish to give today is not my own. Last night, my 11 year old left her composition book out and laid open on her most recent poem. She's been writing for school assignments, to use vocabulary words. But what she writes is full of more hope than I can express.
Sweet Sierra will speak for me today:
"Jesus"
Jesus was perfect
sinless, blameless,
never had a malady,
never grimy or dirty
But God's love for
us was so great.
He sent his son to
suffer a great fate
The people who he
loved so much
were about to kill
him on a cross,
But wait! this story
isn't done!
Jesus didn't stay dead.
Oh, he ain't gone!
For in 3 days, he's
out of the tomb
and we're alive and well!
Here's sections of another favorite:
"Jesus Turned me Around"
First my life was barren,
empty and sad.
But Jesus turned me around
and made me glad
I used to be sullen
with no purpose of living,
then Jesus taught me
why I'm alive.
I am so delighted that she knows Jesus, loves Jesus, finds inspiration (even for school assignments) from Jesus. Her life is all about Him.
Faith. Hope. Love.
Expressed in the beautiful simplicity of an eloquent little one ...
" ... and a little child will lead them." Isaiah 11:6
