Trying to Conceive a Baby?

We've been hearing from many women asking for prayer who are having trouble conceiving.

I cannot imagine the pain and heartache that comes from this very intimate and personal issue. Please know that my heart and prayers are with you and your spouse.

I also want to offer each of you a special word today.

There is a movie that speaks absolute volumes to this journey. It's called, "Facing the Giants".

The wife in this movie dreams of conceiving a child and wants it so desperately that she can vividly imagine seeing her children playing in her yard. She is a true Christian seeking the same answers as so many other women who are trying to conceive a baby.

The real moment of truth happens when, after hearing once again she's not pregnant from her doctor's office, she stands in the parking lot, looks up to heaven and says, "God, I will love You anyway."

Sometimes God needs to hear your worship and praise regardless of your current circumstances. Sometimes God needs to see you seeking His face rather than His hand. And sometimes God needs to know that you love Him MORE than your desire for a child.

Coming to the place where you can truly say, "God, I will love You anyway" and truly mean it, then you're showing trust rather than doubt. You act like a believer rather than a beggar.

God never said we need to beg and plead. God never said we need to try to convince Him to help us. He said we need to believe...TRULY believe what He says and then act like it by spending more time in worship and praise than petition.

"Facing the Giants" is one of the best Christian movies I've ever watched. I've seen it many times and I always cry tears as I watch the transformation, the healing, and the truth find it's way to the people in the movie.
