When it doesn't seem like my marriage is going to be saved...

I have been praying asking God to heal my marriage. Surrendering my husband, my marriage and my will to God. I don't talk to my husband...and I don't know what he thinks or feels anymore. I am heartbroken. I have repented of my sins in my life, and in my marriage- I know God will heal my heart- I just don't hear from God on what He is doing. I am not sleeping, I trying to pray through this- I cry out to God- how do I learn to accept that I may have to go through a divorce.

LOVING OTHERS AND REACHING OUT

Thats how I feel Karen, it feels like my my marriage is not going to make it. But I know what God wants me to do. He wants me to love during the tough times. Love others and reach out. I am blessed I work with Children because they give me love in return.

Times like these are the ones that test every fiber of your being. It is so incredibly tough when all you see are wrong results coming from your prayers and you feel like your insides are pulled from every direction.

I understand. Been there. Not in my marriage, but in another set of circumstances in my life.

What do I do about it? Hold on to God for dear life. I do that by praying God's promises over my situation as often as I possibly can. I remind God that His Word never returns void and that I know His promises will come true in my life if I don't quit and give up.

That's exactly what I do. Have I seen perfect results? Not yet. But I've seen some great steps in the right direction.

The one area that is different for me is that I do hear from God. Before I developed this skill I wanted it more than anything. So I started reading everything I could find on it. I wanted to know how to tap into what God was trying to tell me.

And I learned. And you can learn too. There is a great book on how to hear from God here. This is the one that helped me the most and maybe it will help you too.
