I'm a Christian Work at Home Mom
As a Christian work at home mom, it comes as no surprise to my family that I am NOT Superwoman. In fact, some days I'm just happy everybody is fed, clothed, and moving forward.....well, at least they're moving. My family consists of my husband of 29 years, our 24 year old daughter who has special needs, and our 21 year old son who is an aspiring, young musician. Wandering, Wandering....I've done a lot of different things in my career. I spent many years in the corporate world, just to find out I definitely wasn't cut out to be a game player. I just wasn't into all the politics. Then I decided to venture out into the private business world where I helped several small start up companies try to get their feet on the ground. But even though I had some success, I felt like I was still missing the boat somehow. They always ask, "How do you know what God wants you to do?" Well, I'm no different than any of you. I wandered around for a long time wondering and hoping I would finally stumble on to God's plan for me. AND, like so many other people, I REALLY had my priorities messed up. At that point I don't think I could've seen God's plan without a billboard, complete with flashing lights! I spent a lot of time away from my kids when they were very young. I was one of those work-a-holics you read about. My life had become so focused on work and succeeding, that I didn't see that my family was suffering, my health was suffering, and mostly, I was suffering. What I was doing simply wasn't working. I think changes come in your life when you finally draw the line and refuse to put up with one more day of wrong choices and wrong circumstances. Me Working on the Internet ... What a ConceptThe question then became, "What could I do that could earn money, but that I was also passionate about?" Could I really work at home and do something that wasn't stuffing envelopes or some other mind-numbing activity? 
I was interested in lots of different things, but I'd always loved writing. I'd done a lot of writing in my career and it always came easy for me. AND I really wanted to work at home. But the problem was...I didn't know THING ONE about how to make money writing on the internet. I knew how to send email and I certainly could write a letter or go to a website, but that's where it ended. Get Real...Well, I went through all that stuff about 3 years ago. As you can see today, my site is up and running. Through my research, I was lucky enough to find Site Build-It. Fortunately for me, they started at the very beginning and walked me through every single step. Today Site Build it even has e-classes where you get to learn the material as if you're in a classroom. That definitely reduces the learning curve! I had no idea that this site would do what it's doing today. I am always blessed and encouraged when I hear from people all over the world who tell me the site is helping them see things more clearly. And I must say, it's been a long time since I've felt like my work could truly make a difference. Yup, I'm a work at home mom, but I'm also doing something I'm passionate about and helping my family at the same time. Trust me, if I can master this thing, anybody can do it.
